div I love that IBM has release updated clients (Symphony V3.0 amp; Sametime V8.5) clients installs to upgrade the embedded clients in Lotus Notes V8.5.2 without us having to wait for V8.5.3  or something to come out.  I love how they have provided documentation on how to slide these into a custom Notes client install so you can roll them all out together.  My problem is, Ive already upgraded most of my clients to V8.5.2 of the Notes client before these became available.  Short of quot;snea [read] Keywords: ibm lotus notes notes client sametime smartupgrade symphony

Managed Replica Full Text Index Question

We have full text indexed our mail files for forever.  We also have run in quot;always connected to server mode for forever.  With the addition of the managed replica feature in Domino 8.5.2, we are testing out moving to local mode using managed replicas.  So far, it seems to be working well.  I really like this feature.  The question I have is, since we are only bringing down a subset of mail when we create the managed replica, how does the local full text index work?  Does it go against [read] Keywords: domino server
