Third OpenNTF XPages Development Contest

contests last year. For the third contest we've changed a couple of things:
First of all the prizes were doubled.

One goal is to provide version control systems on OpenNTF. Right now projects with multiple owners can use SVN repositories on OpenNTF. We'd like to extend this and also offer Git and Mercurial repositories for all projects.

Easy Setup of SVN in Domino Designer via one Update Site

instructions to set up SVN in
Designer didn't longer work since the location of some of the required
(older) plugins had moved. Christian Guedemann corrected the instructions
on StackOverflow.

XPages Debug Plugin for Eclipse IDE now open sourced
Tue, Feb 7th 2012 12:24a Niklas Heidloff David Taieb and Dan O'Connor have implemented
a debug plugin that allows debugging server side Java code in the Eclipse
IDE without having to redeploy the plugins after changing them. This plugin
is a new version of the first debug
plugin which was provided as binary
only. The new version is now open sourced so that it can be merged into
the bigger project XPages
SDK for Eclipse IDE from Nathan

Tanner, the OpenNTF IP Manager was unexpectedly laid off from IBM in November.
Peter was working for IBM as a contractor, where his primary role was to

personnel change put some constraints on our ability to get the backlog

Announcing XSnippets - Next Generation OpenNTF Code Bin

counted and audited, and the newly incorporated OpenNTF has a Board of
Directors.

Teaser: Next Generation of XPages Mobile Controls as part of the Extension Library
Mon, Oct 10th 2011 12:59a Niklas Heidloff We'd like to post soon a new version of the XPages Extension Library on OpenNTF with new functionality to build mobile apps based on XPages.
This version is different from the OpenNTF project XPages Mobile Controls. The main difference is that the new controls have been implemented as library controls so that they can be used in custom apps without having to copy and paste design elements. Since the new version requires Domino 8.5.3 the OpenNTF controls can still be used for 8.5.2.

to run to be an OpenNTF Director, and what does an OpenNTF Director do.

Featured Project of the Month: XPages Multi Database Search Control

a few days early) we will be featuring the three winners of the OpenNTF
Development contest. The first project up is the Multi Database Search

Directors"?
One of the comments we
receive regularly is why can't individuals be “Members” of OpenNTF. -
why is membership only open to companies. After all, it is individuals
who are the main contributors of code to OpenNTF – and code is the raison
d'etre of OpenNTF.
So, we checked around
to see what other open source organizations did. One solution that

- LiveText
Enabler for XPages.
Similarly to LiveText in the Notes client,
the enabler for XPages underlines certain words that match specific patterns.
